downgrade win8 to win7

Downgrading from Windows 8.1 or 8 to Windows 7. Hello Guys, I am trying to "downgrade" to windows 7, is it possible and was wondering what is required in order to do so. Apparently there is a way in which if you have windows 8.1 you can downgrade "without" buying a windows 7 product key. wong to yick
