Yeah you guys are missing the big point of bobbing time, being that fishing speed is exponential when you get near cap. The amount of fishing speed to reach cap is almost impossible to reach without bobbing time, unless you use full gillsplash and assuming you have 300 fishing speed, well lets just say that 5 sec to 4 sec is double the amount of sea creatures compared to 11 sec to 10 sec. fishing bait and tackle
